Article Processing Charge (APC)
To ensure unrestricted access to high-quality scholarly research, Journal of Phytomedicine and Botany publishes all accepted articles under a full open-access model. Every article is made freely available online immediately upon publication, allowing readers worldwide to access, read, download, and share research without subscription or access barriers.
As the journal operates independently and does not receive financial support from commercial publishers, subscriptions, or advertising, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is collected only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been accepted for publication.

No fees are charged for manuscript submission, initial editorial screening, or peer review.
Fee Waiver Policy
The Journal of Phytomedicine and Botany is committed to supporting researchers who may have limited financial resources. Authors who are genuinely unable to pay the full APC, particularly Ph.D. scholars and early-career researchers, may request a partial or full fee waiver.
Fee waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission or immediately thereafter. Requests received after a manuscript has been accepted for publication will not be considered. Each request is evaluated individually based on the author's circumstances and the availability of waiver support. The editorial assessment and publication decision are completely independent of an author's ability to pay the APC.
Reviewer APC Discount
The journal recognizes the valuable contribution of peer reviewers in maintaining the quality and integrity of published research.
Reviewers will receive a 5% APC discount for each completed review that is accepted by the editorial office. Discounts may be accumulated up to a maximum of 50%, equivalent to ten successful reviews. To claim the discount, reviewers should provide the details of their completed reviews when submitting their manuscript.
